All our garden furniture is made here in the UK at our workshop in Bacup, Lancashire, is of a high quality and robust. To manufacture Jardine metal garden tables, chairs and benches that are long lasting and maintenance free, you have to use solid cast aluminium!
Where we have to use fittings we of course only will ever specify sold stainless steel grade 316. What do other manufacturers use; well if the garden furniture is from China it is usually made of some thin casting with tubular legs and hollow arms. Our metal garden furniture is only made from solid die cast aluminium in our UK factory, where we also powder coat our own furniture.
This is why we offer a 10 year structural warranty; why do you think other garden furniture suppliers only give a 1 year guarantee? It is because they know their furniture will not last!
All of our garden products are made with 100% recycled aluminium.
This casting type is utilized for manufacturing well made parts that will not vary and are the same with each cast. This continuity of quality means that parts will always fit together in the same way and of course the garden product will always look the same!
The mold is made in two halves, one side is stationary on a rig, the other moves back and forth , usually powered by gas or electric. When the mold is shut, molten aluminium is poured into the runners at the top of the mold to fill the void within and make the metal part.
After cooling the part is removed, fettled and cleaned. The parts are then welded together in our welding shop and then, after de-oxidising, the product is powder coated and baked in an oven. We then carefully pack the products and then deliver anywhere in the world!
